    But the use case Dre is actually using is the same technology the Beatles used for Now & Then.

    For 2-3 years he has been using stem separation and remastering technology on Bruce Springsteen demos from the 1980s to help produce a new Springsteen album.

    This is what he’s talking about.

    that’s as a chatbot, everyone knows we’re cooked in that area

    in terms of art though, you can’t replace actual artists if human artists themselves have nearly unanimously led successful strikes & boycotts against companies using AI art

    Similar process to how the Beatles restored Now & Then.

    The remaster of the old vocals specifically, he is looking at what the tech is doing to them vs what he has attempted when reassembling the songs.
