At face value this sounds awful. Yes, he should be able to shell out some fund for a cheap apartment so she’s situated. However, she’s also an adult we do not know if he’s hitting her with the tough love treatment after years of bailing her out. Most sane people don’t abandon there kids with issues. She could also reach out to her sibling for guidance/help or get a job like every adult out there.

Growing up I was friends with this kid who’s older brother was addicted to d****. Comes from a good family and they kept sending him to rehab. He would come out relapse steal money from his family because he owed people money and then get bailed out again. Eventually they got tired of it and said your on your own.
