Made some good points but 400 vs 1 yr oppression is kinda bs and he lost me with saying the Asian agenda being a distraction from black issues
you came in here calling niggas cracker out of nowhere. F*** off.
Cause posting dumb s***: “where is the anti asian policing bill” in this discussion on this predominately white website is some cracker s***
I don't give a f*** what you claim to be.
why is it always the users that never post they own faces on this site that be the first one to try to call a nigga "white?"
This is factually wrong
More evidence of you being a idiot
@YoungSacrifice Hop off my d***. I don't know you.
He was wrong about Asian hate being only a “1 year thing”. They’ve got a deep history within America of being oppressed.
Man I aint know Umar had a whole fan club on this site. yall niggas got it bro. Hope he pay yall a percentage when that school finally gets built in 2055.
@YoungSacrifice Hop off my d***. I don't know you.
Thats what I thought.
Keep it moving
I completely understand what you're saying man. I have no issue with the independence and wealth-building and general empowerment stuff. That's absolutely great, there should be power in the black dollar and for the people to prosper, mostly independent of white people (this is what the Latino and Asian communities have achieved for their own). I also completely understand the stance you have on interracial stuff and "sticking with your own" as that has played a huge aspect in oppression historically. My issue is that how hotep-types will call people who choose to date interracially "c***s" or race-traitors. Umar will hit well on a topic than segways what he just said into some wild s***.
My nazi comparison comes from the fact that these groups will share the same goals and rhetoric, for the most part and they sympathize with each other. Hotep ideology seems to re-create the same patriarchal hierarchy of the fascist white supremacist stuff but with hotep black men at the top, who have interest in oppressing the lower people who would be considered out-groups "who aren't real black people" (mixed-race people, LGBTQ+ people, etc.), it's discriminatory and divisive and it tends to share parallels with Nazi ideology.
yeah that's one of the major issues within the black community; a standardized set of rules some of us seem to enforce amongst one another where if we don't fit in a certain mold or criteria we're rejected from our own group. white people (i.e. Joe Biden) have also historically told us if we are black or not by who we vote for, for example. we're often treated as a monolith by any and everyone
although black people lack the power to even attempt something remotely close to what the Nazis have done I can see how some of Umar's beliefs are concerning. hopefully those inspired by the empowerment are intelligent enough to separate the good information from the ignorance.
appreciate the perspective bruh <3

oh, and to be clear I don't have any issues with interracial dating; was only saying I understand why he's against it. I'm Baskin Robbins wit it dawg, 31 flavors
dating a beautiful black woman rn tho
Everytime he spoke on the gay community he called them "sexually confused" and said very great quotes such as literally saying homosexuality supports eugenics (I'm deadass):
arguing that people are born gay supports eugenics
and more like...
I believe people are exposed to it, I believe they can be manipulated into it, I believe they can be socialized into it
I don't need to look at the studies of Harvard, Yale, because my personal experience with them directly shows 95% of gay men have been sexually molested (which aint just a dumb thing to say, but it also is a slap in the face in most studies in the field that say sexual abuse isn't linked to sexual orientation https://1in6.org/get-information/myths/ )
Also, there are pre colonial records of homosexuality within Africa. Ancient Egypt had very liberal concepts of sexuality and gender lmfao. Hell the widely known "two-spirit" in Native American communities is proof that sexuality wasn't as rigid in pre-colonial times across the world as conservative thinking would like you to think.
If anything I’d say the dude is misinformed or ignorant because he’s using personal experience to generalize. But those quotes weren’t homophobic that just his personal beliefs
Where exactly did Umar say some homophobic stuff? Cause the only thing I’ve ever saw on him is not agreeing with the lifestyle
Calling it a lifestyle implies choice. Its an existence. And if you disagree with someone's existence because it doesn't fit within your or society's confines of 'normal' or 'natural', you're a bigot.
He made some solid points, but the erasure of Asian discrimination in this country lost me. There's better ways to highlight the extent of black oppression in this country than to straight up lie on Asian American history

This is an interesting post considering most modern debates on race in the U.S. is tied to power structure and white oppression. There isn't much history of white people trying to oppress asians in the U.S. in comparison to black americans. It's little to none if anything. I wonder if this argument is fading because other groups want to address their oppression

There is no proof of sexuality being in ones blood.
Nothing more or less
I dont think he ever spoke hate or pushed for hate
Its really simple
LGBTQ gets the light shined on it because white people are part of it
Not because of the poc
He is specifically talking about the bill that is addressing hate spread during covid which has been a year
Keep up
Makes no sense at all to say that.
Keep up.
Can you name one multiculturalist society that has worked?
Yall hotep niggas are f***ing stupid.
Damn near every country that exist today is multicultural. Even f***ing China.

Just talking out of your ass. You should learn about American history.
Page Act of 1875, and the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882 would be a good place to start if you really wanna engage in this discussion my boy.

You’ve already demonstrated through several post that you’re out of your depth when it comes to this subject. So go and learn more before trying to debate again instead of just parroting what you heard someone say.

This is the last reply you are getting from me in this thread after your comment about china. Everyone knows about the Chinese Exclusion Act, Japanese internment, and a few other instances of the U.S. specifically targeting people from specific nations. Not an entire race of people like the U.S. has traditionally done towards native americans, black people, and hispanics. I specifically said "there isn't much history" "in comparison to black americans" because I knew someone would come here and name a few instances and act like it's been pervasive for decades or pervasive against asians in general. It is not and never will be. The U.S. has done this towards specific nations before. There were immigration laws restricting greeks, italians, and so on. It's not the same and anyone suggesting the chinese exclusion act is enough to compare black oppression to asian oppression is laughable and being intellectually dishonest.

You’re being willfully ignorant. You think white people in the 1800s gonna differentiate a Chinese person from a Japanese, or Korean person? They barely are able to do it today.
I said entering this thread that I don’t want to engage in an oppression Olympic discussion. Me or any one else highlighting that Asians have a long history of oppression at the hands of white supremacy is not in any way diminishing the black plight. It’s y’all nut ass hotep niggas who wanna think you’re militant, and Malcolm X pre-Mecca that came in here with the bs.
