I agree with literally everything he said and I went into it expecting it to be some bs
He was wrong about Asian hate being only a “1 year thing”. They’ve got a deep history within America of being oppressed.

but not nearly on the level as Black people my boy

Not trying to engage in an oppression Olympic discussion.
coons like this confuse me because what point does this make? you're literally just trying to f*** with black people
Not trying to engage in an oppression Olympic discussion.
it's not a competition discussion, Black people are the most oppressed people on Earth. that was Umar's point
My gf is biracial, and she and I had an hour long conversation with her mom, who is black, about why she (her mom) didn't feel entirely sympathetic to the Asian struggle right now, primarily because she felt like asian people didn't stand for black causes in the past. But we have to understand that Asians make up a very small portion of America and therefore are not very visible, and even then there was plenty of Asian support last summer during the protests. Asian/black tensions in the 90s-00s were crazy but we have to let that go.
I don’t think we really even have to “let that go.” I also feel like tensions (though not AS HIGH) is still there between us
But we all need to focus on the true villain in this story. Not Asians, not gay people, not transgender and nonbinary people
white supremacy is our common enemy. And sure, certain groups (and in a small way even some specific Black people) have benefited more than others, but we all share a common enemy. We should still hold these people accountable for joining the white-side, but at the end of the day we can’t do it alone. Violence against one group supports violence against all
besides the trans kids stuff, I dont like his eraser of Black LGBTQ
Just to play devil’s advocate, are other groups or oppression keeping that same mentality of inclusion of all oppressed groups or are they specifically worried about their own agendas? I understand there is some overlap especially within the African American LGBTQ community (who I support and stand with fully) but I don’t ever see (if I’m wrong please correct me) that same energy when these bills that he touched on are getting pushed through via EO or congress bills. They aren’t stopping to wait on the African Americans from an outside perspective so idk why as an African American you’re expected to burden the weight of all these other groups.
Biden's executive orders on racial equality and targeted relief from the coronavirus stimulus that are implemented under the umbrella of all "poc" will help way more black people than a symbolic "lynching bill" or any other shallow optic policy Umar is talking about.
The LGBTQ and Anti-Asian executive orders do very little to combat the structural oppression they face. The LGBTQ community has more anti-trans bills across states than ever before. Funding organizations that push back against Asian hate mean very little when anti-China propaganda is spewed by mainstream media 24/7.
I get what he's trying to say, but Biden really isn't helping LGBTQ people and Asian people any more than he's helping Black people. Let's be real...

Sure, but that doesn’t take away from their oppression
meme culture (and pandemic leaving dumb niggas open to be mislead by yet another false prophet grifting) somehow gave this nigga's career a second wind.
Cause after that whole school funding s*** went down, it was a wrap for ol' boy lmfao. But he's still the same nigga preaching hate and sexism and ignorance along with the rest of that cast from Hidden Colors.
It’s crazy, nigga probably isn’t even a doctor either.
Cracked out, anti african and women, stole money, and folks still ride for him and tariq
Sure, but that doesn’t take away from their oppression
I never said anything about their oppression. all I said is black people are the most oppressed people on Earth. which is true.
black people are such a loving and accepting people, that it becomes a weakness. when Biden said we aint black if dont vote for him, we shouldn't have voted for him or trump. boycott these structures

I been seeing a lot of other niggas post "lol they passed an asian hate crime bill" and I be just wanting to tell niggas....like....did you all just suddenly forget what the civil rights bill was supposed to be?
that was our version of this. And just like that, this bill ain't gonna stop our asian brethren from getting attacked by dumb niggas.

Malcom Xs wolf and the fox speech still holds so much truth and the ideal way black folks should think about politics in America
