Rumor has it that Dragon Ball Super is getting a remake and it's going to be announced at the Dragon Ball event later this month.
Apparently the Super manga arcs are apart of it.

That’s good. Maybe they’ll also announce the manga returning too. Although it’s going to be a bit hard to imagine DB without Toriyama’s involvement. I suppose whatever Toyo now decides is canon from here on but Tori did choose him as his successor

Tbh, Toriyama stop really being involved back during the Universal tournament arc. The rest of the manga arcs were done entirely by Toyotoro. All Toriyama did was supervise character designs.

I think if it's a remake it probably will just be them remastering those arcs. Fixing the animation, maybe change some storylines, nothing really big. Only really doing this to give them time to push out the newer arcs.

Manga feels a lot more like dbz…that said if they do this I pray they skip first couple arcs

I’ve read different things over the years. I have a quote directly from Toyo that said he got ideas for the Moro arc from Tori though he had the initial creation of it but it was still a collab. And then one for the Granola arc where Toriyama gave drafting and storyboarding. It sounds like Toyo led it but still worked closely with Tori to the point it was the both of them.
