I think Granola will be the first stronger than UI. He's about to get a big power boost after facing Frieza. Remember he wished to become the strongest in the universe so.have to be stronger than UI Goku and even Whis. That's why Whis said "this could be a problem.

Uub is the only reason they defeated Moro, and they've already teased Goku wanting to train Uub for about 3 arcs now

The end of Z said it's suppose to have been 15 years of peace on Earth RoF, Broly Movie, Moro, and presumably Granolah will have caused issues on Earth. Goku training to become a master of UI and Vegeta following the GoD path kind of throws a wrench into the ending of Z. Its also pretty obvious that they're going to go beyond Z ending now. Shuiesha and Toei are fully on board milking DB.

oh you're right. The Z ending was awful regardless. but what I mean is i think they're still on the same time table, like they're gonna change s*** but goku will still go fight Uub at the tournament and they're gonna have to go beyond GT most likely

i think it will for sure go beyond the ending. but i still think the ending in place will have some bearing, and i think we still get a GT kind of thing but obviously retconned so it can exist with super

although this arc is pretty similar to one of the gt arcs already iirc so who knows. i realllllly just dont want to be 30 when this finishes

The reason I think it won't be the same but still have Goku go off to train Uub is because that it's literally 2 years before the end lol I don't think they'll retcon GT. Probably just continue to go on.

he being trained under beerus and learning GoD powers. In a gist beerus recognized that (like himself ) the whole peace of mind concept of UI isn’t meant for Vegeta so instead he’s showing him another way to get stronger like her did without UI

Really need to see him and Freeza go at it to see more of his fighting style and how it measures up to goku/vegeta

Also besides goku just wanting to fight stronger people I’m interested in seeing why the hell they would essentially “help Freeza” in this situation

Only reason I can give is that power corrupt so Granolah wish may actually have side effects besides giving up all his life. Even Whis said that he could be a problem.
