That narrative spanned from Frieza and connected all the way thru gohan going ssj2 to defeat cell. Gohan was pretty much a child during the frieza s*** so they matured him real well

So well done and cohesive storytelling

DB super doesn’t take the time to slow down a single episode, let alone let one character build thru multiple sagas

DB super creators seem too concerned about catering to this generations short attention span but it’s making the new stories and transformations go so quickly the audience has 0 time to invest and actually care

ok i get what you're saying, in my opinion though the goku black saga is great storytelling, and a great way to bring back future trunks. I liked the future mai relationship too

Yeah I watched his chapter sneak peek videos and he just nitpicks everything. I love this arc right now. I'm always excited to see what happens next.

This is what happens when an anime doesn't have source material and has to be written, animated, and directed in 4-5 days. The manga has been great since the anime ended.

Toyotoro and Toriyama are writing the chapters now. Toyotoro does most of the writing and he ask Toriyama for permission.

the Granolah arc has a few weird moments but overall I agree. The cohesive storytelling has improved tremendously.
