some really good writing in this arc so far. I was saying the same about moro until that spun out of control, but I'm having fun so far

I feel like he/it will, just bc this arc was kinda billed as a continuation of the previous one from the jump. And some of the same thought processes (figuring out the optimal UI form, Vegeta having some secret power or knowledge that makes him especially valuable, hand to hand combat being prioritized over blasts).

Vegeta really is the closest thing to smart the good fighters have, sans Gohan, and I personally think the riling him up will be later complemented by showing the good side of Vegeta and earning dude's trust

either way we know Vegeta and Goku aren't dying

It's from dragon Ball heroes. The new Dragon Ball Heroes has to get most of it's stuff like new forms approved by Toriyama. In the recent arc Black came back as the new mask saiyan and revealed to have traveled across multiple time lines killing different Goku and becoming stronger. He's better using the body now and trained his rosè form to go SSJ2 and SSJ3.

Ehhh it's mostly just because of the video games and Dragon Ball MMO. A bunch of what if stuff. DB AF wasn't really a "what if" thing. Just some fan made story. Most people including people that like DBAF don't like Heroes.

They should and make it even longer with more Saiyan history IMO

They did skip over the Bardock rebellion bit

You can tell the manga is sitting on exploring the Salada/other saiyans until they get some anime confirmation

This whole arc is based around Saiyan history/conquering, so it could be a transition into that
