JbreezyondeckA little annoyed with how long this arc dragged out just to end abruptly, I’m also annoyed with the spoilers literally everywhere before the chapter actually came out in English.
That being said, I think it’s time to scale powers again. Would love to basically do away with anything/anyone who isn’t a GoD or above at this point because there’s no f***ing way anything mortal should be on the level of Frieza, Goku, Broly, Vegeta, and Gohan as far as MCs go. Will be interesting if they can somehow keep all these new transformations relevant while also giving them all room to grow
I mean to be fair. Dragon Ball super does a great job leaking only one to two days before the English chapter.
Imagine being a One Piece fan and being spoiled a week before the chapter.
I honestly thought this was the BEST way to end the arc. It was either that or Goku and Vegeta fight Gas until he disappear into dust.
For the second paragraph. While I would love this. Like I've told others, DB is a corporate series now. If it doesn't make money then it's not on the list.

Yoooooooo this is why I don't even care about spoilers no more. I had full images leaked to me when Luffy Gear 5 was leaked almost a week before the chapter.

You know, I think it’s ironic because when we were younger we spent all this time googling these crazy ass transformations like SSJ5 and s*** that seemed like a fantasy and in a way they’re giving us the fan service we all wanted, but now as an adult you yearn for more grounded arcs like before

Yooo I agree. I wish Dragon Ball had deeper story plots. It would low-key be fire. But now it's basically a glorified advertisement for merchandise, video games, the card game, and movies.
It's literally just point A to point B with whatever new transformation, new villain with 2-3 transformations, and new attacks for Dragon Ball Heroes and Xenoverse.
This is also why I just turn my brain off and read DB. My inner kid be excited af for a new transformation. My adult self is like "meh story is ok I guess".

depends, I'd say Moro, Granolah and the Black arc definitely have interesting and surprisingly "deep" thematic throughlines. At least that's what I'd say. Not as "deep" as say Naruto (even though Granolah accepting revenge as not the way to go just makes him more of an Uchiha than before). It's the personal drama that's translates through the battles (it's often just about power-ups at this point), the connecting throughlines from arc to arc as well more stuff happening imo.
Also, I'd argue Moro is Z-tier for me. I'm waiting for a reread of the entire Granolah arc to rank it. Maybe I'll do it tomorrow idk.
