I mean that's the anime. He doesn't have a voice when you're reading it and he's terrifying.

Hell yeah he would kill Gero. Seems like all of Gero androids have a disdain for him. That's why Android 13-15 are weird. They're the only ones that actually listen to the Doctor.

at least in Kai it isWhat they're saying is how before Cell appear it is kind of meh. It's why Cell was created in the first place because Toriyama's editor and the readers didn't find Android 19 and 20 interested and Android 16-18 weren't really villains per say, just strong street punks that had one goal. They had no real other purpose after getting to Goku. They were different from their future versions as they didn't even really want to kill.

Eh I feel like criticism of pre-cell appearing is justified. Besides Android 18 beating up Vegeta and Goku getting sick, the first half is a slog to get through and doesn't heat up until first form cell appear.

This new movie was trash. Idk why I expected better, how you gonna reuse cell and not have him be good? they literally made him just another dumb mook. And those new androids were lame af lookin like robot bugs bunny. Plus they didn't even get murked by the heros, I need this dbz back

Yeah that's why I also said depending on the version. Because the original anime has a ton of fluff in the Cell saga lol

fr. i thought i would hate it but i absolutely loved it.
This is literally how I felt when i saw the spiderman enter the spider verse trailer. ended up loving the animation on that film too
