Yeah this ain’t touching Rebirth
DD2’s combat looks more fun than FF7R’s though
I was so confused I'm like didn't this game just come out and everyone was glazing it but that was the other one I already forgot the name
GameFly ship, should be here Friday or Saturday.
Best investment I made for the last year or so, 2 games a month at 24 bucks. S*** basically paid itself off in just a few months.
Ive only got a steam deck. Not gonna bother with this. Cpu heavy game. Im prolly never ever gonna play this lol

Lol the article just says “ Only with a modern CPU and graphics card will you stand any chance of having a smooth gaming experience”
We know you need modern hardware to run a new game

D****. FF7 combat is way more polished and just as diverse as this in regards to play styles.
Elden Ring comparisons are people high on emotion.
Elden Ring is a 97. This is an 87. The cult fanbase this has overhypes it.

Weren’t you a ride or die for FF XVI, which has the exact same score?

On PC, Elden ring is 94 and this got 90, a negligible difference
Saying a game is overhyped because it’s a few points off based on critics is borderline delusional

Yeah it will run good for the most part, FPS tanks in cities tho apparently
It runs at like 10 fps on steam deck lol
How big of an improvement is this sequel when compared to the original? Always wanted to play the first but heard it was super rough around the edges

Seems to be improvements across the board while keeping what made the first game special (and pushing those mechanics and systems further).
The dream fantasy action-RPG.
A $600 card can’t even get 100fps at 1080p
I really wonder what about the game makes it so heavy?? It’s not bad looking visually but it’s definitely not boundary pushing. I guess it’s just super CPU heavy.

That’s max settings, I’m sure you can just turn a few things down from very high to high and get 120 easily
we’re eating

Still crazy that a 4000 series card can’t just power through it, but from what I’ve been reading the game is mostly cpu intensive. You could throw a 4090 at it and still get disappointing results if your cpu isn’t decent.
