A $600 card can’t even get 100fps at 1080p
I really wonder what about the game makes it so heavy?? It’s not bad looking visually but it’s definitely not boundary pushing. I guess it’s just super CPU heavy.
Put my glasses on I can’t see these niggas
Weren’t you a ride or die for FF XVI, which has the exact same score?
I’ve admitted my wrongs on XVI. XVI is an 8/10 at best.
Some of my favorite clips so far have been the player getting thrown around by huge enemies. In the ACG review he gets picked up by a troll and gets yeeted like 40 feet down off a cliff into a river lol
Jesus Christ, this game is something else.
Nah, it’s a 10/10.
Jesus Christ, this game is something else.
Wow
Obviously knew not everyone would like the game, but the one criticism I don't get is the "1 save slot". Having multiple save files would literally conflict with the core mechanic of the game: The Pawn system
I don't know why people don't understand that.
Imagine if you had access to more than 1 save slot on 1 character. Assuming you're not strictly playing offline, you will interface with several online systems in Dragon's Dogma, the main one being the pawn system. Iirc, in DD1 it was either every time you touched the Rift Stone or sleep at an inn it would update your pawns information to the servers.
Now lets say your main pawn is level 30, Someone decides to rent your pawn because they have 3 Star knowledge of a particular quest. In the process your pawn may have died in that person world, thus returning the rift. Now that person wants to rehire your pawn, maybe they waited a day or two, and now when they go to search for your pawn, they see it's somehow level 22 instead of level 30, and doesn't have the knowledge it once had because you decided to load an earlier save file. Now scale that up across 100x more players doing something like that. How the hell is are the servers suppose to handle that all these conflicting save files?
Which save file takes priority? What if you load an earlier save, and then decide you wanna go back to the file where you're furtherer ahead? It's too much variation too account for. If it was completely offline, then sure, but it's not. It has no way of working that I can think of.
Temporary skip for me but I’m grabbing it eventually
This game is going to annoy a lot of people. Having to constantly fight the entire time outside of towns because you're jumped every 5 seconds suck but it reminds me of the old days., the constant random encounters days.
I'm going to be annoyed but I'm going to like it I bet.

1 save is fine but I can see why ppl would want to make more than 1 character which isn't possible

They’d have to change having your pawn tied to your psn/xbl account. If the game is like DD1, then there are very easy work arounds to making more than 1 character at once.

Why would they have to change that? Just don't let players recruit pawns from their own accounts
My ps5 so loud while playing this
Damn
never heard a PS5 get loud during any gameplay
Completely forgot that the NZ trick was a thing, I could’ve been playing this all day
