I love Freddie and $$$ one of my AOTY but no this review doesnāt do it justice and wouldnāt have made me particularly excited to check it out even tho itās positive. Heās talking about way too much stuff I donāt gaf about tbh. He touched on the production and Freddieās technical ability a little bit but I think those things should be far more emphasized in rap reviews than what they are. These critics may be qualified from a journalistic perspective but they not qualified as rap listeners imo. They have no idea what makes a rapper or a rap song dope anymore.

isn't it partially subjective tho? on that last part. what makes a song dope? me and you could have two entirely different ideas of that. obviously there are objective things with music that can be seen as bad, but for the most part yea.
