What does this supply chain s*** even mean?
https://twitter.com/0hbetave/status/1618730085791707136It’s all logistics. They need to make sure their freight forwarders are ready 3-6 months in advance, make sure that all items have custom clearance, have multiple stage setups (the one going on and the one headed to the next stop) all ready to go months in advance with their logistics manager. The slightest error in paperwork, delays in custom clearance or damage to any equipment changes everything.
Cole had to cancel 2 shows cause a screen broke on its way to the next show while he was performing. They tried to pack and bring the current screen being used but it’s impossible as everything was planned months in advance and it could risk even more damage.
Drake, Adele and Beyonce are just having issues with logistics in US. Beyonce hasn’t faced the same issues in Europe (reason why it’s starting there)

Hmm. Thanks for breaking it all down.
Anyways, if the stadium tour did indeed get cancelled, we're 100% getting a co-headlining arena tour with 21 Savage for the US dates.
It’ll probably be separate tours like Summer Sixteen/Boy Meets World and Aubrey and the Three Migos/Assassination Vacation were

Still think it's wack that he does that but very likely that's what happens this time as well.
The logistics for touring ever since it started back up in 2021 is f***ed up.
The cost to ship any sort of equipment for stage set ups/lighting is ungodly... It's tough out here that some of the biggest artists would wind up losing so much money even if they did do their tour.

And don’t forget about Live Nation’s huge cut (50%-70%). Then they get 20% of your merch sales too. Then the artists get nothing from ticketing fees, coat checks, parking passes or bar tabs that they helped bring.
Sick game that probably looks nastier with bigger figures. Most artists only walk away with 15% of the money they made that night

Sadly that has been that way for a while with ticket cuts. The costs of stage stuff and shipping and tour busses and all of that s*** has been the bigger issue now.
Seems like what happened last year with European tours is gonna hit the US tours this year.

Sports reporters always know who is coming to town since they report on the teams that play there.
Hopefully he just does arenas on scaled down tour but it might be too short notice to do all of that???
Why is everything getting cancelled? People, celebrities now tours.
Wish it was 2005 again man i swear
This sad. Stadiums ain’t it but would be a great achievement and cool to see him touring again
They've been booked. The issue is how much s*** be costing logistically and it doesn't make sense for artists to even tour if they're not making s***.

https://twitter.com/0hbetave/status/1618730085791707136That's the current catch-all excuse.
The reality is that Live Nation/Ticketmaster is about to get F***ED in court so they're probably gonna slow down on huge productions like this
