Don’t know why I have to announce that I love Drakes music any time I’m in a thread like this but this doesn’t work with me because I love Drakes music lol. I can just be honest about its trajectory quality wise from summer 09 or so when I started listening until now. Outside of CLB and Her Loss most of his albums are at least listenable if not good to great. 2016 and beyond just ain’t 2015 and before

Also this doesn’t make sense in reply to my post lol. I’m just saying that it’s success alone isn’t something to use as indicator of quality when infinite things go into that for music sales

Of course drake doesn’t have a RD lyrically but I think Ak isn’t talking subject matter he’s just talking being witty, and with Middle of The Ocean Drake was spitting with the Hov’s and the Lupes

Not here to hate but if you listen to that Middle of the Ocean song and prime Hov back to back the cookie cutter aspect of these (recent) AM/PM songs becomes apparent

Ak made that post ranking drake albums and calling the top 5 classics is like when Hov ranked his own and had RapRadar pushing Vol 2 as a classic
