I have/had a similar problem.
I wanted every song to be perfect so much I could never finish them, and I’d eventually move on to something else because my inspiration would change.
What’s working for me at the moment is trying my hardest to just get the core essentials of the song down as good as I can, adding the additions to the core which immediately pop out to me, sitting on it a few days while polishing, to make sure I don’t miss anything too dope, and then just finalizing it after that.
It’s hard, because I always worry I’m finishing the track too soon, and I might be missing out on an amazing idea, if I just waited a little longer, but in the end, a finished project will almost always be better than an unfinished one.

I feels. these days im working on being okay with complete imperfection and accepting my lane as a musical artist. Ive taken up visual art and that kinda helps me step back from music, and realize its not a big deal if i miss a note or if a song isnt mixed and mastered in the way i envision etc, if the song hard its hard,.may not get a big audience but at the end of the day, who cares? istening to ppl like dijon and mk gee is getting me outta that perfectionist mindset.
