So this how we feel KTT? Kanye a better autotune singer than Drake now?

I’m indifferent. Lets enjoy the music

Stop the cap Ye never sounded half as good as this as a singer

Ye be screaming through the autotune and intentionally triggering it at high retune speeds which is dope in some applications but over all Drake is far superior when it comes to using it how it was actually intended to be used

You hear “monotone” I hear control and mastery

Ye sounds fantastic on tracks like Only One, 24, Come to Life and plenty others & 808s shows he knows how to use auto tune perfectly to evoke emotion.

I’m not saying anyone’s superior, I gave both props but plenty of people have mentioned the lack of versatility with Drakes vocals on this project strictly.

Yeah. What he lacks in technical skill he makes up for in emotion and rawness

Drakes vocals even though they’ve grown on me were the worst thing about this album

I can imagine kanye just breathing into a mic using autotune and adding tons of distortion, slapping reverb and delay on it

I ain’t saying he don’t ijs Drake sounds way better

He’s wayyyy less pitchy, not pitchy at all actually while Ye has always been very pitchy

I don’t mind it but my point was no one complains about it yet people complain about Drake’s vocal shortcomings instead of just taking it as art like they would with Ye

Drake reminding me of Bieber on Calling My Name

I’m only talking about his vocals on this album and the lack of emotion & variety present. At the end of the day it’s personal preference so if you prefer Drake’s vocals then that’s fine.

And they still tryna make sure they call him "rapper". His "rapper" persona. He is an artist in every sense of what that word means. Yet they refuse to call him that.

Just look how they describe what he usually talks about. Like why isnt he talking about rap beef, gossip or create any memes on this project. Like he "usually" does.

Talk about belittling someone that is one of this generation greatest artists. That has transcended different genres time and time again. That just keeping pouring great music out. Especially when he make an album like this one! A real album that is so cohesive and straight to the point with its concept. So much attention to detail was put into this one. Yet they dont want to give him any credit for it. He is the peoples champ though.

That writer seems upset he didn't get the usual Drake but he would have torn yet another rap Drake album. Drake will never win with critics ever again. I've long accepted it.

Who cares about critics anymore lol, they don’t hold any weight when discussing albums.
