If this ain't the truth. Nice way to end the review.

You don’t need to be a global citizen, have a credit score of 740, or a rooftop patio to enjoy Honestly, Nevermind, regardless of what Twitter says. Music, like life, doesn’t always have to be so serious. Artists should be critiqued when they don’t meet the high bar they’ve set for themselves, but the art should also be allowed to breathe. Love it or hate it, Drake already accomplished what he set out to do with Honestly, Nevermind by making his rap fans ignore the literal interpretation of the title and embrace the spirit of summer by trying to experience something new. He’s finally back to making music that he likes to hear when he’s at the club, and by following his heart and ear, has strung together one of his most authentic projects in recent years.

That was really well-written and well put.

A site with anonymity is never a good way to gauge something like that lol

That’s the main place that music discourse happens online now. Good or bad, it’s what we got

And that's the real issue. You don't actually know if those people are being themselves are just going for likes.

And again, jokes or not, it’s rooted in homophobia.

Trap artists don’t get joked on when they drop music, because what they talk about is considered okay and “masculine” among the black male community.

As soon as a rapper makes a dance album with a lot of emotion poured into it, the pride month jokes start flying

This is the way I’ve been feeling about this album and why I love it so much.

This is the first time in years where Drake has given us an album that actually sounds like HIM and sounds like he actually enjoyed creating it

I said it that on Scorpion and even on CLB, it felt like he was doing what he felt he needed to do and not what he really wanted to do. Like, "here's the Drake y'all want. I'm really getting bored of this s*** but here y'all go." He was still giving out dope verses but you could just tell that the heart and the passion wasn't there anymore, despite all the success all that music was seeing. I don't know how to explain it but that's really what I think he's been going through these last few years. This album is probably the most he's been able to let loose on a project before. Even on projects like Views and More Life, he had to stack them with 10+ rap songs so his fanbase didn't feel alienated.
