“As far as the Drake era, we in the golden ages, look at the total wages and look at the “heroes” falling from grace in their older ages”

I mean like how do we actually define this though. Kanye and all the other top rappers have relatively similar levels of success (less I know but still)

sort've feels like he's talking about what's cool culturally

which no matter the success, drake is past his time in culturally being cool

  • Sep 13, 2021

He's right about the streets part but charlamagne d***rides kendrick so his statement is wrong.

  • Sep 13, 2021

    Charlamagne biplor af tbh

EDIT: Nvm just checked the date lol

  • lets be clear drake my most listened to rapper the past like 5 years

Drake is still the culture so idk what you’re basing this ludicrous statement off of

When did he stop being culturally cool ?

we prob just have different definitions of cool

not to insinuate they're not "cool" people or popular, but all these top hitters are like blockbuster movies at this point. Which like... dope, I love the music and hope for continued success, but they're not the new and exciting thing anymore

Drake will never not be successful is my point. Thats no way to define when his era is over

drake drops anything and the world stops to sit and listen

merely getting on a random artist’s song is enough for them to propel upwards in such a manner that they see immediate success just off the strength of drake co-signing them

everything he does is well received and is thought to be meticulously calculated

    ie: billboards to announce features

corny if another artist does it

    genius when drake does

shaves a heart in his head, a bunch of people start doing the same thing

drops an album with pregnant emoji women as the album cover, multi million dollar businesses replicate the same thing because they know that if drake does it, it’s considered cool and tapped in

make a song named “way 2 sexy” with him galavanting around in costumes that anyone else would get absolutely flamed for and graciously make the record go number one and video gather millions of hits instantly

this is what is considered cool. if that’s not, idk what is bud

    This album is a classic
