Yes, it was still additional music added onto an already released album. You had the standard version that was however many tracks, and then the deluxe which was that same album plus a handful of extra songs. It didn't exist independently of the core album.

it’s the same concept but in reverse: Drake dropped ICEMAN & two separate additional albums at the same time

without calling them deluxes, they’re understood as deluxes because they are bonus albums to the main project, ICEMAN

ICEMAN is a complete solo album, and Habibti & MoH are fully separate bodies of work released alongside it as bonus albums because they received no promo beforehand. you remember that, right? how they all dropped at the same time?
