The claims he's making are so difficult to prove in Federal court. At best they come to a settlement, but in the end he wouldn't win. He's doing legitimate damage to his career.
he's damaging his career for sure through this route but i don't think this is as frivolous of a suit as people are making it out to be. defamation cases, like libel, are infamously hard to win but this isn't really a pure defamation case since it's based on pre-existing contracts with known figures and exchanges. my assumption is this will be settled out of court though.
