What im saying is regardless of genre, if the replay value is there it will chart. Im not saying chart #1 or even top 100 but atleast somewhere on the charts where its measurable.

HNVM has horrible replay value and it is more "pop leaning" than Drake albums that are consistently on the charts.

HNVM is a dance album. Dance albums don't stick around on the BB200 for long either. Do you seriously not grasp this?

You're making this a genre thing when its not. Its a music thing. If the replay value was there... you'd see it on the charts

It can't have replay value if it's not being replayed

    Dog

You think people aren't replaying dance albums in the world right now?

The BB200 caters towards pop and radio-dominant music. Dance music is not that, that's why it's never been a mainstay on that chart.

You're discounting so many different genres if you truly believe that anything not being on that chart for a long time means it has no replay value. That's not even what replay value means

Not a long time. Im not expecting IYRTITL and HNVM to have Take Care longevity

But if youre not seeing it on the charts at all after the initial run there isnt really an argument for replay value.

Sure maybe the core fans are listening but theyll listen to anything released - thats the case for literally every album.

Nobody said IYRTITL wasn't on the charts at all. I said it hasn't charted anywhere near as much relative to his longest charting albums. And the reason for that is the style of music it is, not because there's no replay value

And I said that's false. Because if it had replay value youd atleast see it pop up on the chart time to time during slow weeks. The style of music doesnt determine replay value, if its being replayed enough you'll see it on the chart

It's charted for 201 weeks. What I'm saying is that it hasn't charted half as long as his longest-charting projects because of the style of music it is.

If something charting for 201 weeks has no replay value, then 99.9% of the music in the world has no replay value

So middle of the pack of Drake's discog in charting weeks. And will get surpassed by FATD (and probably Iceman).

I know what youre trying to say. Im saying its wrong. The style doesnt correlate with replay value which would be visible on the BBT200. Relative to other Drake projects (not other artists) it doesnt have the same replay value

  • martian master

Oh and my comments about IYRTITL are relative to Drake's discog, not hip-hop as a whole

Most rappers dont have a project as good as it lol

You really can't look at these two groups of projects and draw a logical conclusion about why the first group has charted twice as long as the second group?

Yeah - logically the top group has better replay value

That's not drawing a conclusion + replay value is entirely subjective & opinionated

What's not an opinion is the differential of styles between the two groups

Sure yea you can write off whatever as an opinion

But Billboard shows you the general opinion - not individual posts or reviews

And as far as Drakes catalogue, IYRTITL is in the lower half of replay value to majority (style not being the reason why)

Does this said paid partnership in bottom left for anyone else? In the twitter app

Does it mean hes getting paid for this tweet insinuating the Kalshi #s indicate poor performance (they don't)?

Yes, he's getting paid. Every Kalshi tweet is sponsored promotion. They offer money to literally anybody.

Ah okay so hes not paid to push a narrative - he chooses what he wants to tweet about? As in if it was a post hyping Drake, it would see same payment?

Somebody exposed their DM approach a few weeks ago. They pay like $1000 a month for quote tweets. You tweet something for engagement & you get the fee plus whatever else for traffic. So whatever gets people talking, they tweet about.
