The fact drake had songs ghostwritten for him automatically makes this false. Like jay is 50 years old and drops dope verses without people ever questioning his pen. Drake can never do that which means he not in the same bracket as jay as a lyricist and thus is not better than 90% of rappers as a lyricist

This isn’t a controversial statement in the real world. Only nerds online don’t like drake.

Bun B even said a lot of the top 10 OAT Rappers had ghostwriters. Gillie has stood firm in saying he wrote stuff for Wayne and Cash Money too but that gets glossed over.

The myth surrounding Ghostwriting (if you dont write 100% of it you arent a real rapper) is bull. Most big artists get hooks written for them, references for how to flow on songs, etc at the bare minimum.

Its about what can be proved or not. Drake having writers has been proven. Just off that you cant put him in the same convo as jay or pac unless you have proof they had writers. The gillie s*** was never proven and even if he did, that was before wayne’s prime anyway
