The thing is, we knew the “album with the book” wasn’t a thing when he said he was still working on it and then gave us a date (or some s***) which we also knew he doesn’t really stick by those dates & tour.

By that point we knew it wasn’t actually done. I also said initially I won’t follow any date seriously until that website was updated (it hasn’t been or if it still will be updated by the time it drops).

What gives me encouragement recently was the addition of the dog scribblings on Drake Related which I feel should mean they’re not far off anymore.

They were sellin’ CLB merch almost a year before the actual album released 😭 doesn’t mean much imo

He could have easily announced the album back in June and said he'd drop it at some future date when it's ready. That's what artists usually do.

Drake didn't need to do the whole s*** with capping about making an album to go with the book/lying about it dropping "soon"/in two weeks/etc. All of that was unnecessary because no one ever asked him for an album this year in the first place, especially seeing as how he dropped 2 albums last year.

Or better yet, he could have waited till he knew the album was done and ready and then start the hype train to roll out the album however he sees fit.
