The literal definition of the word discography covers more than just albums. Because YOU or anyone else who chooses to ignore that when discussing an artist's entire life's work doesn't make it right lmao.

Take Nicki Minaj for instance. She has like 3 albums to her name. You can't speak of Nicki's impact on the game without speaking on her features. That's her bread and butter, not her albums.
It'll also be the same thing if you tried to speak on T-Pain's/Lil Wayne's impact /discography and ignored their features when that makes a clearly stronger case for their discographies.
Those are two completely different things and two completely different ideas
No one is excluding features and other s***, itâs just obvious that albums hold the most weight in discography conversations. Youâre the only person in here arguing otherwise

Jun 7, 2023jumbotroni think a big part of this is that unlike pretty much every mainstream rapper ever, he doesnât rep a city at all, which is a real part of being able to impact the culture, because of how the sound of an area can be influenced by an artistâs work long-term (like ny with pop smoke recently, chicago with sosa, atlanta with thug and future, etc)
Thatâs true too. I canât think of anyone that doesnât rep their hometown.

All top tier and legendary but Hov is slightly too inconsistent, Kendrick hasnât dropped enough, and Outkast are basically perfect but Kanye and Drake both have way more classic songs.
