provideri know i missed a whole bunch of s*** on the site this weekend but man i've just had melodies and bars from this album stuck in my head constantly. even when it's not playing. i still don't know how i feel about it as a whole but for me, he did what he always does - gave us another soundtrack. take that break it's well deserved.

I also feel like its crazy to act like he's in the same territory as a new artist when he has had some of the biggest albums and singles in the last decade, and quite a few truly Great albums that I think will last a generation
I wish he dropped more too
I even give a bit of Credence to the fact that Kendrick is not putting in the same amount of work in maintaining his spot on top as Cole or Drake
but this is kinda unwarranted
Those reasons you stated at the end makes me feel like some harsh talk on Kendrick is warranted lol. I might be taking it far but it’s time for him to prove otherwise
I was someone who held him above the others because the first two albums were that good
But the hiatus and coming back with morale really humbled me and hurt his legacy. He’s in a Nastradamus type position it’s time for stillmatic if he wants to go down as anything higher than #3 of his generation
