provideri know i missed a whole bunch of s*** on the site this weekend but man i've just had melodies and bars from this album stuck in my head constantly. even when it's not playing. i still don't know how i feel about it as a whole but for me, he did what he always does - gave us another soundtrack. take that break it's well deserved.
Such an interesting artist in that yes cole most certainly out rapped him on FPS but it’s easily the drake 2nd verse and bars that stay stuck in your head and are way more fun to rap along with

Oct 9, 2023I really enjoy this project, lots of highs for me. I do think much of the criticism is ridiculous and a lot of it is based on what people want or expect from him.
I do think the break will be good for Drake. From 2018-now, he’s given us so much music, so many hits, so many great moments. It’s been a really fun run as a fan. I think he deserves a break. I would bet the 2 khaled songs are the first 2 songs we hear from him 2024 and I can see some loosies on Night Owl Sound but I hope he does really take a good portion of 2024 off to get a break and get away from all this hate

AgonYI actually ended up doing this. Specifically, I went back to spinning old albums, especially nwts, just to see why I did not like fatd on my first two listens at all. Ended up throwing together the few songs I liked on third listen and went from there, sequencing them more like older drake projects were. This is what I'm currently playing and enjoying as an actual album format listen:
