like i can put this album on and listen thru no problem but some of it feels like⌠background music, not really popping etc

Album is very sleepy feeling (like the drake version of the cole music putting people to sleep), feel like heâs running out of ideas in a way and the production doesnât hit for me s as much as i wish it did not to mention a lot of corny lines
That being said I like a lot of the songs and can appreciate them but they sound low energy which makes sense if this has been recorded on tour
also think itâs possible some of this disappointment is due to my own current mood as well
itâs another group of songs that barely make sense together and donât feel like they live up to what they couldâve been, like when chrysler made that one car that looked just like the bentley
can't wait for the album to click for you.

I mean, it's supposed to be tired and low energy in sections. Like Bahama Promises, which is a cornerstone for this album literally says this. The corny lines are what you're gonna get with Drake, and they play well into the writing like it does in his hosting. He's half white Jewish and Canadian........idk what anybody expect
I don't agree with the running out of ideas, because that poetry book/his Yatchy interview in conjunction of the one liners/similes he was hitting in Daylight, Amen, Fear Of Heights, 7969, Slime You Out, Tried Our Best, Drew A Picasso, 8am, Polar Opposites
I don't personally understand the critiques in the writing, I think they're misunderstandings because being Yugoslavian never meant more
But I get people not liking the pacing and/or sequencing
For me though, it's top 3 Drake
