Who cares? Protest music should arise and be represented organically. You talking about ‘missed opportunities’ sounds like some weird vulture s***, and even weirder since the song has literally nothing to do w the movement (neither does Cha Cha slide, but that’s what the people decided to play). It doesn’t really matter one way or another. You shouldn’t be looking at protests as a PR opportunity for artists though

I get your point, but like I said in OP I criticized TS before the this movement happened. Part of my criticism then was Drake should focus more on timeless music instead, much like how he did with Gods Plan and NFW. It has nothing to do with the movement ofc, but would’ve presented a nice ice breaker for people. Much like the Cha Cha Slide is doing right now.

I’m not looking at it from a standpoint where it benefits Drake. I’m looking at a standpoint where it could benefit people out protesting. Any positivity is welcomed. Drake has the biggest platform right now musically, it’s the only reason why I’m being critical.
