808s aint in my top 4 kanye albums either? not saying the album is a 10/10 by any means or even half as good as 808s but the impact this will have going forward is undeniable

This album would have more impact if Kaytranada would have been attached. It’s missing his superior rhythm and bounce. Most of the beats are so robotic and lack soul.

drake addressed my silent criticism with this one, which is committing to a sound for an album he’s projects generally have a bit of everything and i think that’s why they are polarizing, this one a left field because i would expect a fully rap or rnb before house/dance

100% agree feel like there was a few house staple sounds drake didnt include over choosing more streaming friendly ones

The Album is refreshing. He didn't stick to the same formula and went out of his comfort zone.

Only Drake could drop something like this and move the whole wave 🌊 that is the culture 🫡

And one good song came out of it, everything else was so hard to listen to and the sounds and chord progressions were not fully developed. So nah not really

I was being sarcastic with the other person. You made a valid criticism though

Don’t ever compare this to 808! these kids man…

I feel, just glad that the house wave is being noticed or will be noticed by the culture. knowing that black people created house, it really should be embedded in the culture

Everyone knows you’re a fake Drake Stan, you a fan just for the Ktt interaction dopamine

  • Jun 17, 2022

808s had legends on the production and legendary features

This is a Carnage album he has 0 respect smh

  • Jun 17, 2022

    Should’ve gotten Brian eno

  • Jun 17, 2022

This will probably be karma for Drake being passive aggressive to Kanye for making Yeezus and making fun of it in 2013

I wish more black people would expand their tastes rather than pigeonhole themselves. its not just in music this happens too. hopefully this open more minds

  • Jun 17, 2022

LOL at people acting like 808s and Heartbreak wasn't heavily criticized as much as this. its still considered one of Kanye's most divisive albums. A lot of hardcore hip hop heads did not mess with that album and they still dont till this day.

bro you don't like this album?

im sorry man :( ... like 2-3 songs works for me and thats it.... When I heard intro I was like f*** man this gonna be amazing ... but then...it just just feels rushed a lazy. Nothing special. Drake can do so much better. But I live in nostalgia i guess... When Drake was hungry and he tried to prove something he was on another level. But im sure there are many guys out there enjoyin this album.
