But to suggest the extra exposure wouldn't have decent effect on first week sales is just absurd.

What exposure, exactly? All Drake needs to do to get exposure is post on his IG/Twitter that a new album will be dropping at a particular date. Fans and the media will spread the word as far as it needs to reach and he'll do the numbers he'll do.
