People keepin tallys on ig posts showing love ITT. Always good to support your peers especially when it’s coming from a genuine place
its always been love especially within their camps, cash and sal are pretty good with Drake.
Weeknd and drake relationship was sour when he didnt sign to OVO,but they are on good terms now.
Plus Abel always said Drake is the king of toronto cmon no need for these fantasizes
Nah, their actions have always spoken otherwise.
Drake was never sour about Abel not signing with him. He was featured on a single off Abel's first album on Republic that dropped in 2013. He even appeared in it's music video and brought him out in OVO Fest that same year. Every time he's spoken about Abel, it's always been love and about how proud he is of him.
Abel is the one who has thrown shade on multiple records and has been shady in interviews.
Abel had his chance to make an inconic mark and fell flat. Great show but not legendary. Step aside for the real king of Canada please
drake might be good at a lot of things but performing isnt one of them

Clearly someone who has never been to a Drake concert.

Drake in the rapradar interview said that they wasted 7 years and both are at fault.
Drake def was salty,he was sending shots on 5am in Toronto too.
Im sure they had some petty beef with eachother, both were at fault, but that has been resolved for time now.
Not gonna claim the insider angle because i hate when people do that, but if you ask the right people, they always say that the camps are super cool with eachother since starboy,Especially cash and drake

why would i pay for him to jump around

I'm not talking about the camps. I'm talking about Abel & Drake.
Also, how is "I show love, never get the same outta niggas, really funny how money can make change outta niggas" a shot? That was a statement of fact from Drake's side and like I said, that same year, when Abel asked him to be on his debut album, Drake obliged and even brought him out at OVO Fest in the same year.
Since then, it's been shady moves on Abel's side. Even when they linked up in 2017, by 2018, Abel was back to sending shots on records.
It's whatever at the end of the day. I think it's more than clear that Abel doesn't f*** with Drake. Drake is the one who probably doesn't want to believe that for some odd reason.
why would i pay for him to jump around
Never been to a Drake concert but confidently speaking on how he isn't a good performer. I get it.
I feel like Weeknd is showing love behind the scenes but his ego ain’t allowing him to publicly
Too many OVO dudes showing love for it to be one sided in reality
drake might be good at a lot of things but performing isnt one of them
He’s a great performer. Performing is creating that energy and anybody who’s been to a drake show knows the energy he can create and his stage presence crazy
Side note: what’s so alluring about drake his haters sniff his section like stans ? 💀
Maybe I'm reaching, but to me, it's never felt like they had any real issues, especially on Drake's side. I just think Abel and his camp are competitive and have been competiting against Drake from day 1, which is understandable because it's really the little brother trying to one-up the big brother.
They've been very intent on positioning Abel as the #1 artist from the city but I doubt that has ever worked for them. Every huge year Abel has had, Drake has always come around right after and had an even bigger year.
Abel sweeping the Grammys, having the #1 song of the year, being the #1 artist of the year and then going on to headline the halftime show was probably meant to be a slam dunk to go "you see? The Weeknd is the #1 artist out of Canada" but the Grammys f***ed that up and now even with Abel headlining the halftime show, his performance wasn't as great as I and probably many other people thought it'd be.
I think overall this is it. However I do think some behind the scenes stuff happened between them, after being buddy-buddy in 2017 (not counting the OVOXO signing drama before). From Drake throwing Bella Hadid a party in NYC (and her mom basically confirming that something happened between them), and Abel sending dirty shots with that baby line, they definitely had issues. Drake mentioned they both had their fair share of stuff to apologise for but on his side seemed really adamant to patch things up so I can imagine they did things to slight eachother at points. Now it seems they’re at a more grown stage with Drake branching out to patch things up in that interview. We’ve seen now they’re cool and have a mutual respect for eachother, they are competing from an artist perspectives and people just see that as beef.

!https://youtu.be/0dnd2j_is1Uwhat respect has abel shown drake?
drake might be good at a lot of things but performing isnt one of them
even charlamagne the god who hates drake with a passion has praised drakes shows
well drake f***ed his girl so abel has every right to completely ignore drake
just it's still sad to see drake praising weeknd and nigga showing no love back
drake might be good at a lot of things but performing isnt one of them
This is false.
what respect has abel shown drake?
When Drake called out the Grammys for After Hours, Abel reposted Drake’s story with a ‘🤞🏽‘ emoji meaning they’re cool or some s***. Other than some social media antics tho he hasn’t really acknowledged him but I’m sure behind the scenes they’re good
I also think it's wild to speculate who's supporting who based on IG stories.
Y'all don't know what Abel and champagne have talked about offline over the last x amount of years.
Regardless, he's obviously happy for Weeknd and wanted to display that publicly. Showing support in the hopes or expectation that it's returned to you is flat out nasty.

Ur braindead. Read my post thats why they beefed and why drake kisses abels ass even when abel doesnt show love back
So much salt in this thread y’all gonna be crying when Abel delivers a classic feature for CLB..
