actually both now that you mention album for album

Hahah. Its possible that they can go album for album. It makes sense b/c Drake told people he trusts, namely Akademiks that he's going to play this game in his own time frame. The diss track for diss track is just one way to do things. They can go album for album. Subs practically on every song even. Let the people decide who puts the better body of work. In the digital world its a bit f***ed b/c these Drake haters + and Kendrick d***riders might actually come to out-stream us so I am a bit cautious of that lmao.

  • Didn’t I say before Ebro is overcompensating for his racial ambiguity when he has the same background (Black american father & white jewish mother) as Drake?

Look, Amber Rose is herself caught in this whole fiasco and Ebro himself keeps putting his foot in his mouth. He wants to carry the banner of being as pro-black as possible so he doesn’t have to address any racial ambiguity in his own background and to evade the melanin police and BLM activists who would pull his own card. It’s a classic misdirection.

Again, this weird convo of gatekeeping “race” and “blackness” and the presumption that black artists have to also be activists is where this battle exposes this whole undercurrent of in-group racial bias and discrimination.

If Drake isn’t black, then …where does this convo go? Ebro, are you black?

I was really surprised how much people hate Drake that they'll listen to just about anything Kendrick put out. Well MTG is flopping but NLU is terrible even outside of the beef context it's such a pop rap simplistic radio song. I thought everyone talks about how deep Kendrick is and they don't even like his deep songs

Brother, they are gassing this snippet from his NLU video like its some earth shattering music. Nigga was talking about brocoli or somethin, swear these peoples will listen to Kendrick doing an acapella to Mother I Sober if it means it causes any type of implied dent to Drake's career.

Big Dog ( @516ix ) basically said from what "he heard" that Drake is talking his s*** and hence Her Loss 'on steroids'. Drake definitely talked his s*** across the entire album, from Rich Flex to Jumbotron S*** Poppin. His contract talk, the luxury rap on Middle of the Ocean, that second half of On BS & Broke Boys. He was going crazy it was so sick but I agree with you, Her Loss definitely brought some closet haters out of the woodwork.

Just wanna chime in and say the last time I heard Big Dog mention what he heard, he then further clarified that someone played him like 10 seconds of a song over the phone.

It’s still believe everything gang, tonight gang, and album coming Friday mindset type s***, but just to clarify on the posters here

again, “Humble” is one of the worst songs ever…and they forced that square peg in a round hole and made it a hit. It’s a legitimately terrible song. And they made it a hit.

This is an anti-drake movement and it will continue.

Drake possibly can’t “hit” his way out of this. The industry is rejecting him and it’s settling in.

Last time tho is a great example. Humble was running the charts that summer at the same time Drake's Billboard run ended. He took 5 months off and came back with God's Plan and Look Alive at the beginning of the next year. I really think by the time October comes and Kendrick drops that we will see Drake comeback again. He's not finished yet

He also said "Album finished". Within this month. We're two months. I am by no means trying to stock pile on him b/c he's a fan like the rest of us. But perhaps he should've kept the 'its coming within this month' talk on the shelf.
