Drake has roughly 10-20 Reference tracks for him.
He has roughly 500+ officially released songs.
He has officially written - co-written more than the next rapper
More of them have connected than the next rapper
Drake has written about 10-20 records for other artists.

What are we doing here. Music is collaborative. Always has been.

I want this to be true but why did he make some of the best music in his entire discography (Push Ups, Family Matters, THP6) and people didn't play it? I know we have them on repeat but I still wonder what was missing for the casuals. Push Ups especially is so repayable imo

The most intriguing thing about this discussion to me is that in the year 2024, grown ass men and women still legitimately think every mainstream rapper they rate as a lyricist has written every single word they've ever rapped on a song lol. It's almost like they can't enjoy rap songs without being honest about where some of them ideas come from. I can know Santa isn't real and still believe in the magic of Christmas but everyone is different, I guess.

So Kenny did move back to the West Coast, right? I saw he bought that 60 million dollar house in Cali but I'm not sure if that's him moving back after being in New York.

I'm not sure we know officially but it looks like it and it's funny imo. If Drake did all this they'd be clowning him hard. Lowkey Drake won because

• Got Kendrick to move back to LA

• Planting money trees in his hood again

• Still no daughter, embassy raid, informant papers

• NLU bars got uncovered as tweets

This nigga revived Kendrick's career AND his marriage, family man lifestyle, sent him back home all over a beef. Meanwhile Drake and his music are business as usual, still outstreaming Kendrick btw even at NLU peak
