    i was honestly disappointed when I heard ref for iyrtitl man. Like I don’t want drake to use writers for his rap s*** so it def made me look at him different then. I don’t care about singing ref or anything like that but that really hurt man

    Everyone in the music industry has help and co writers and lyricicism changes and sometimes references, it is what is is
    Drake is a brand at this point
    But at the same time the e amount of artist who vouched for him saying he’s one of the best writers should stand for something too, ye-ross etc

    I don’t doubt people get help and co writers but there gotta be a reason to why his just be getting leaked the most. An artist at his height shouldn’t have to deal with this type of problem. Yeah drake writes for people but having ref getting leaked will always be an L. I just don’t know why it be happening. Cuz we never hear other big rappers ref…unless they don’t rock with people helping them like that. Like future, his ref for other people get leaked but not the other way around

    From the References we've heard they all have significant changes also none of them were legit file leaks. I believe that was done on purpose to narrow down to the parts Drake used. If they played the whole file or leaked it for real it would show Drake used nothing in comparison to the actual Refs QM sent. I'm speculating however it makes the impact higher because it seems like QM is just handing him incredible ideas from the perspective of playing snippets.

    I legit have them just listened to all of them real quick.
    All 4 Refs we have make up 6 minutes and all of them have dead space bc its a ref/snippet and flex bombs its legit like 3 minute worth of lines which still all lines weren't used.
