I doubt he was plotting in 2020 when CLB was announced like “Ima drop CLB, HNM, then Her Loss it’s gonna be a trilogy..” lol

It feels more like a conceptually the albums kinda line up if you squint hard enough type thing

It's a Drake major studio album, of course it's gonna be scattered. You're micro-analyzing it too hard. It has enough relevant songs and themes to at least loosely round out the trilogy

Did you actually listen to the album or just picked a few songs to listen to and dismissed the rest of the album? Cause did you actually listen to F***ing Fans, IMY2, Yebba's Heartbreak, Pipe Down, N 2 Deep, TSU, Get Along Better, Race My Mind, Fountains, The Remorse, Girls Want Girls, Fair Trade, In The Bible, & Love All. Have you listened to any of these songs? That's basically the WHOLE ALBUM.

I don’t think it’s necessarily a narrative-driven trilogy. More like they’re connected by overarching themes. I may be wrong but I don’t think Drake set out to make three projects that are directly tied to one another. They’re just kinda connected, with the titles and vibes more than anything. It’s a cool way to mark this period of Drake’s career but I don’t think it’s too deep

Fair Trade def got nothing to do with it either man lmfao I think son just be talking out of his ass cause there’s no way CLB ties into any of the other two albums cause CLB in itself isn’t a concept album and doesn’t have a consistent theme to it

Fair Trade and Love All have nothing to do with the theme at all. Those songs have to do with friends or associates betraying him more than anything love related. The songs do not all tie in like that. If he made more songs like Race My Mind and N2Deep then yes but nigga got Knife Talk on this same album you’re saying is well thoughtout

Drake studio albums being scattered was only a thing with views Scorp and clb

Prior to those his albums were pretty focused and post CLB his albums have been focused as well

Drake studio album doesn’t automatically mean it’s gonna be a mess
