You clearly didn’t read any of the thread and if you did and this is all you came up with, then your brain must be made of mush. This is bigger than being anti gambling.

with the amount of promo he's done i wouldn't even be surprised
it's probably tied to some stats or something though
like he gets 30% of the profits of the users he's signed up or somethin

The top streamers are being given anywhere from $250k-3M a month to play with.

As long as Drake keeps using their site publicly to gamble and the users of his code keep losing (which they will), his deal will easily generate enough to pay him 20-30M a month which is the alleged amount is.

predatory nature this predatory nature that

I've never gambled in my life and I never will. Don't give a s*** who gets on stake or who streams what. People around me drank and smoked and did d**** from day 1 and yet I've been straight edge my whole life.

At the end of the day it's up to the individual. We need to start promoting the idea of taking responsibility for your own actions. We need to strengthen the will of the people. Too many weak individuals that wanna blame everything on streamers and s***. Man up, nobody is forcing you to do anything.

    There's a big difference.

One implies he's getting a cut off a loss.

The other implies he's pushing brand awareness and doesn't monetarily benefit from the loss of his fans hard earned money.

So far the narrative of the latter cannot be proved, since there hasn't been an affiliate link that associates the web session to Drake, nor is there a code.

Can you please find me an affiliate link on his page right now?

On the stake highlight there is 1 link but it doesn't appear to be any sort of affiliate s*** in the link.

If you go to it on an incognito tab it just takes you to stake.com thus supporting my claim that his fans losses can't be traced to any of the links he's provided (thus far)

At least with gambling anyone with half a brain cell knows theres a good chance they lose the money they bet. Celebs promoting nfts and crypto are 100x worse because they actually sell people on the bullshit lie of making life changing money off that garbage

For an introduction to those unaware here’s a quick video on the scams this company is running.

Stake runs an online gambling site from a back channel country, Curaçao, that only recently earned their independence in 2010. Online gambling licenses are simple to get and extremely lucrative because of the lax age verification and tax evasion laws there.

The recent rise of “gamba” streams on streaming platform Twitch has caused the site to gain popularity among the main age group of the platform, 15-24 year olds, the low end of the age group otherwise wouldn’t even come across this content without the help of sponsored streams. These sponsored streams are most notably TrainwrecksTV, XQCow, Adin Ross, among others on the platform.

“Sponsored streams” are sponsored by the site Stake and other large gambling platforms using an affiliate code dedicated to the streamer that draws viewers to the site by offering “free” balance if you enter the affiliate code when making a deposit. The free balance is only available if you make a deposit with real money of a certain amount. The streamer benefits from the affiliate code. How you may ask? Losses generated from users who use the affiliate code to earn the free balance are the main source of income to the streamer.

Broken down simply: X site gives X streamer 1m in funds to gamble on the sponsored stream with, attached with an affiliate code. Y viewer enters affiliate code from X streamer with a deposit of $100 and earns $50 in bonus balance. Y viewer loses $100, and X streamer receives % of the loss. Most of these sponsored steamers have 30k+ viewers at any given time during these sponsored streams. You can see how quickly the funds can add up.

Drake comes into this for the same reason. He’s given an affiliate link, with millions of fans and subscribers to his media. The rest you can figure out for yourself.

    TLDR:

-Stake is capitalizing on their model of affiliate code generated funds
-These funds are generated from the losses of users who use the affiliate code
-Users of the affiliate code otherwise wouldn’t even think of gambling online with their real money without exposure from streamers, and now Drake

Here’s a very detailed video of the breakdown of affiliate codes and the predatory nature of it

    Disagree.

Watch the 2nd video in OP. There’s even vids of (big) streamers accidentally leaking their earnings from losses and stakes placed.

There’s been videos exposing in flows and out flows in the block chain from stake wallets that are linked to in flows from users that are out flowed directly from losses to affiliate wallets

didn’t coffeezilla expose this s*** with roobet and stevewilldoit
