    i respect what you're saying cuz what people don't understand is that drake's job, or any front facing recording artist's job, their job isn't to write the song.

    Writing songs is the most insignificant part of the music business.

    Drake's job is to sell records. Use his likeness, his budget, to sell the song(s). Him being talented at writing is a plus.

    Someone writing the Janice hook should be expected. It's a nothing burger.

    at the end of the day, when you’re an artist like Drake, the music itself takes a backseat because all that matters is how much merch it sold. tbh, the smartest move for Drake at this point is to just let AI write & record for him while he just shows up to concerts to perform karaoke of the output. it’s completely in line with his career priorities.

    its a nothing burger apart from he's been trying his hardest to give the impression he doesn't use writers, faking himself coming up with 'Doghouse' and 'Stuck' in his livestream when Beam wrote it, and then faking that jerk beat freestyle, Drake REALLY cares about how he's percieved and he's annoyed people think he uses writers
