I mean I can see what you mean - I think it was you ITT who made the point that no one's currently competing with him and that's true. But it just gets me so frustrated to see him doing the exact same s*** over and over and collecting his check when his first 5 years were leagues beyond this. I don't know what happened after IYRTITL but it's been like groundhog day for me.

I'll also grant that I'm only complaining this much because I don't find the music enjoyable lmao. I mentioned earlier that in all fairness it's just not the lane that I prefer and for what it is he's technically rapping very well and rapping circles around anyone else even remotely close to him with the exception of Kendrick. But I hold the Drake who was bold enough to put his heart into songs like Find Your Love, Over My Dead Body, Take Care, Tuscan Leather, Too Much, etc. in high enough regard that I'm just not content to settle for what he's clearly content to settle for given his last three projects.
