yes, they hit me much harder than come to life. Come to life is a nice song and I love that he incorporated Jesus into his music, but these songs from drake are on another level. I wish CLB had more songs of this caliber, would've been his best album

Kanye f***ing won. CLB is clean and tidy and boring and Donda is haunting and fascinating although a little bloated. Feels like a win to get 23 new kanye songs in 2021. Less sweet to get 21 drake songs when he drops that many every year and many of them sound the same

not the type of album he shoulda put out with how strong this year has been for music

I don't know how there's even a debate when Drake always relies on the same formula that has made him the most popular entertainer of all time while Kanye takes a massive risk to create a new sound almost every album which has made him one of the most acclaimed artists of all time.
