Coming from a Drake fan who's been listening to him since "Comeback Season". This CLB album is high mid at best. When I heard "Scorpion" on the night of its release I knew "In My feelings" was a hit off first listen, I knew "Nonstop" was a hit off first listen. Nothing on this album screams hit to me except "TSU" maybe... Drake sounds like hes bored to me on this album.

I got worried about CLB when Drake kept delaying it for various reasons and then didn't put out any singles. People think I'm a Drake hater but his singles are always a moment.

Donda got delayed a hundred times as well but you got the sense that the album was the only thing Kanye cared about that last month.

Imagine if Drake made a song that was actually genuine and not part of the formula that has become his fake ass persona where people nobody knows are trying to get him, he namedrops women that don't exist, and complain about fake friends.

jcole, ye and now drake have dropped MID albums, not the worst but not the best given their goat status in hip hop. If they keep this up hip hop will be in a very bad state, theres starting to look like a vacuum in terms of mainstream quality and i hope someone can fill it in soon
