This feels like a diversion from something much bigger to come.

I’m not sure why and I don’t even really know what the speculation would be, but this rollout just feels weird. Not that I have an expectation that we get something else right after this by any means…

Either way, I’m very excited for new drake music

He likes f***ing with random thots, not female celebs and he has every right to do so. That's a life you get to live when you're a rich-as-fuck bachelor.

Future is 40+ still singing about thots and y'all go up for it every single time but Drake can't do that, why? Y'all gotta relax, man. Just enjoy the music when it comes.

He can do what he wants. He just shouldn't be bitter then, if they only want him for his money.

The music is still quality, so in the end it doesn't really matter.

LIKE. They're SHOCKED that a 38 year-old bachelor who is rich as f***, good-looking and who every woman wants to f***... is making songs about f***ing lots of women 🤯

Dude isn't settled down or in a committed relationship and has told y'all from jump that his music is a direct reflection of his life but yet y'all want him to sing about the type of romantic relationships he simply isn't in lol. Make it make sense.

oh my god you h**** as hell LMAOOO

I mean anyone can be bitter about a breakup, that’s a pretty common thing right? I don’t see the issue. It’s not like he’s insulting or dissing every woman on Earth

He can and I still love the music.

It's just not as a relatable as it was in his earlier career.

It's just a small complaint I have. In the end it does not diminish the quality of his music at all.

I’m in the same boat as you but a lot of people defend it harshly idk if it’s just a beef thing or what.

Drake can do whatever he wants. The great divine can be as h**** for him as she wants. But, just in my opinion it would be nice if Drake wouldn’t tell us about the 509th Instagram model hes f***ed, fell in love with then got cheated on.

How is he being bitter? He's just making songs about what happened. And y'all love to act like he's talking down on women on all his songs, that's not true. A lot of his love songs is him wishing a situation could have worked out better or him lamenting about how he ended up f***ing things up. At least, there's still sincerity there.

And yes, you can want more for him but ultimately, no one can tell him how to live his life. Dude isn't hurting anyone or forcing anyone to do what they don't want to do. I even respect that he's at least honest about his lifestyle, unlike most of these married men who are f***ing even more women than the bachelors are.

So you want him to make songs about a wife he doesn't have or about committed relationships he isn't in? Why do you need him to do that? He's made 100s of songs bragging about having money. Why aren't you asking him to stop doing that?

Everytime someone just expresses their taste or their opinion you jump on them with this same reasoning each time. You did it to me a while ago.

People can express their opinions and their suggestions and whatever, that’s what an open forum is for.

Imagine someone saying “I don’t think the color red looks good on Drake” and responding with “YOU CANT TELL HIM WHAT TO DO HES A RICH AS F*** HANDSOME GROWN MAN”

And that's okay. You don't have to relate to every aspect of his life and you shouldn't even need to relate to music to enjoy it for what it is.

Drake has a level of wealth I'll probably never amass. He has a level of fame I'll probably never reach. I can't relate to either of those things but it doesn't mean I have an issue with him making songs about those topics. Why? Because that's his actual life lol.

I get how you’re feeling, but money, failed relationships (failed may not be the right word here but you get what I mean), fame, etc can change a person. I think earlier in his career he was playing the humble, happy to be here guy and now that persona is just completely gone (I feel like he’s earned that tbh).

Personally, I f*** with it and I feel like any one of his peers who don’t like it are just jealous. Because none of them have a place to stand on a moral high ground to talk down on him. But generally speaking as a fan, I get where you’re coming from. Idk if we are ever going back to the drake you’re talking about though.

You're free to think whatever you want and have whatever opinions you want to have. I'm just providing context. You can't want whatever from other people, it doesn't mean you'll get it. That's my point.

I'd love to see Drake find someone to settle and build a life with, if only because that's something he's always spoken about really wanting, but the life of rich and famous rapper doesn't lend itself to that. How many times has J. Cole and Kendrick made songs about f***ing on their partners? Hell, Kendrick's baby mama left him because he was basically a degenerate s***addict and wouldn't stop f***ing other women lmao. And Kendrick isn't outside half as much as Drake is.

That's my point. And as long as this is Drake's lifestyle, any committed relationship he tries to get into will probably end up failing, which is why he's said that he doesn't bother anymore.

Yeah for me it’s not even about a specific woman or type or anything.

It’s just a repetitive theme that we get from Drake and it would be nice to get something fresh.

When Drake does sing / rap about it, I’d also love to see Drake talk deeper about these relationships (friendly or romantic) and own up to his side of things or explore his feelings more without it turning into a materialistic thing.

I’d also like to hear Drake rap more about his family again, so more songs like “stories about my brother” etc.

I know fame and success change you and that’s fine. I’m not saying Drake has to change. I’m just expressing what I wish would happen to make his music more enjoyable for me personally.

He can make songs about whatever the f*** he wants. He's an artist. No one can tell him what to make, all we can do is ask that it whatever songs he makes, they be as great as possible.

I mean is asking to switch up the content not us asking for the songs to be great or be better? You are allowed to critique as a fan

This is very fair but again, his life is completely different from yours. I don't know what you do for a living but you likely aren't worth a billion dollars and you likely don't have a career that takes you around the world and keeps you busy most of the year to the point where trying to build a committed relationship with someone becomes very difficult, so you can't project the same expectations you have of yourself to someone else. That's all I'm saying.

I can see a future where he gets to the point of building a long-lasting relationship with someone but it'll likely have to be when he's retired from music and is living a life where things move a little slower.
