If Weeknd and Drake weren’t beefing, Die Trying would be #1 for literally 52 straight weeks
Do you even know what I was trying to say
I'd say no
Sure it hits if you’re a rider or don’t have enough of your own s*** going on
Abel just dropped an album that almost had essentially no s***or woman issues mentioned in it lol
I'm not sure why you are bringing that up in relation to that comment
but its okay for him to sing about how him taking d**** for 15 years? lmao
craziest part is a weeknd x drake album would be the most successful album of the century and we will never get it
Yikes. If you live with your parents after 18 you’re nothing but a loser. Drake really messing with these types?
Extremely normal and growing increasingly so.
splice samples are fine and good actually
if they sound good they sound good. doesn't make them lesser songs
I make all my songs entirely by chopping Splice samples
It actually can take you down really creative roads, incorporating all types of different cinematic sounds
You just gotta put in work to genuinely do the chops
Yeah he really needs to drop the runoff sentence flow. Adding on he also needs to go back into vocal training. His singing has deteriorated since Take Care days, age aside. His range is very limited and sticks to pretty much the same notes when he sings
Someone mentioned Connect last night when comparing these songs.
imagine if he took that first flow
'Yeah, isn't it amazin' how you talk all this s*** and we still lack communication?
How beautiful our kids would be, girl, I don't need convincin'
How every conversation starts with, "This time will be different"
but he just had 2 minutes of lines fitting that same pattern for 2 minutes
and the beat didn't evolve, no changes to it at all.
and then theres a small kinda hook and then the song just ends. thats how he's writing songs these days
craziest part is a weeknd x drake album would be the most successful album of the century and we will never get it
I hate it
First listen, and it’s not bad! Nothings really stuck with me yet, but I do think this is the closest we’ll get to a Drake “Fan Service” album. If you’ve been listing to him for awhile there’s a lot of stuff to like here. Also a smart move to put something out that is targeted at like his core audience
What kind of lie is this
Weeknd is literally singing about love and women
Wanting a drake and PND collab album to have different content is weird Ngl but hurry up tomorrow is not an album about love and women lol
B**** I feel like

oh okay f*** yeah
I feel like people just don’t listen to Drake for anything super introspective and deep. He gives enough of that on those hip-hoppity tracks he always sprinkles in his records, but I feel like people definitely wouldn’t want an entire record of that kind of stuff from Drake. Just doesn’t seem like what people latched on to if that makes sense. Might come off too forced
Brother wants Drake rapping about the impact of the S&P 500 standing on the world economy
Goodbye
It’s not that man, Maybe I’m tripping idk lol just feel disconnected. like dude you can’t act like this s*** some groundbreaking music. We’ve heard most of this before
Respect 🫡
Honestly, I don’t know what it is—maybe it’s just the sheer amount of music he’s dropped, especially with how music is consumed nowadays. Since More Life, it feels like a flood of tracks that mostly blend together, with only a few standouts per project.
I actually don’t dislike Drake. Could be fatigue idk lol
I agree with this. I think project lengths have a lot to do with that blending effect too.

But Drake has always been super introspective if you has really listened to him.
People saying stuff like this just lets me know they have missed it.

Its okay for an artist to make music about anything that effects their life and their creative process
I was never one that was saying Drake was wrong for singing about his life experiences
And if you think Abel is still making music "about d****" like he did 15 years ago, you are not listening lol
But Drake has always been super introspective if you has really listened to him.

I quite literally just said that
Drake just has a way of making enjoyable yet emotionally vulnerable music - his peers just can’t relate to him on that level and it seems to annoy them intensely

SH3 doesn't get much love for that reason
