KlausI mean that's been apart of Drake's brand of R&B since the beginning. I think it just don't hit anymore because 1. the Lyrics are worse and cornier and 2. He getting too old for it.
I was legit a defender of his age when people was saying he was getting too old for some of the s*** he been saying too... but that was years ago NOW this nigga really is too old.
For example, these lyrics are just weird coming from a nigga that, in own words, just left 35:

I feel like y'all don't need love
You need somebody who could micro-manage you
You know what I'm sayin'? Tell you right from wrong

I can't really"Like maybe he wouldn't have this problem if he dated women his age. This don't sound like a grown woman this sound like some women in her early-mid 20s. That's probably why she making kid choices Drizzy she was just a kid a couple years ago.

Forreal. Like this would be cool as a random loosie single, but its definitely his weakest single
Not even cause it sounds bad…because it doesnt sound bad at all. But its nothing new and the same formula we’ve been getting when it comes these types of songs. Songs like Headlines and All Me and even God’s Plan were all songs that sounded like he put in effort to make a statement.
I thought about it this morning. I would argue back when No Shopping came out that he was putting out music and still sounded inspired when people were saying he wasn’t and he was boring. But years later now following the same formula is getting boring and seems less special each release
I hope this album is really fire. I know 6 God won’t let us down even if I’m not crazy about this. And who knows? Maybe the song will grow on a lot of us when we hear it in context of what he’s got

What is with you Drake stans always resorting to the "Oh y'all want Drake to be politically conscious now that he's older or something" s***? Growing older doesn't mean you have to start rapping about politics or social justice. It'd just be nice to not hear him rap/sing like a whiny f***in high school kid who hasn't gotten over rejection at the age of f***in 36
