Jul 6, 2022showtimealldayI agree, OP. No disrespect to Drake. I think it's more so because Drake's songwriting is his strongest attribute IMO. He's obviously not a pure singer, but his songwriting has always been so good that it hasn't mattered.
When you get Drake's songwriting x a true singer, it is damn near euphoric.
Obviously not true w/ all Drake records, but a lot of Drake's singing songs fit this criteria for me. Would LOVE to see Drake take on some young, talented singers and write for them when he's older.
