1. Obviously if you're a drake fan, in most cases you'd prefer the OG version
2. For people who insist on hating drake, I think they'd be surprised that these are actually drake songs
3. Beeen saying this about his latest album – undisputed hits for most if they heard em performed by someone else
4. I like that it's cool to cover drake outside of the genre where great song writing is paramount
5. If these covers were actually part of each respective artists catalogue, they'd rank amongst their best songs.. says alot

Dylan's version is underrated. Also Jimi's version is revered more for the instrumentation behind it not just his vocal performance

Agree with you for the most part. I'll say this, Drake isn't really a good singer when compared to people that actually sing. So naturally, people who's profession is to sing or is a naturally gifted singer will sound better when covering his songs. Doesn't mean drakes version is bad and like you said those songs would be among those artists best songs if it was part of their discography.

In regards to the album, that's just it. Drake just isn't gifted enough singing-wise to make it work. We clearly see the difference with Beyonce. If she sang Drake's album it'd easily would get universal praise
