With the CLB era coming to a close it’s time we speculate on the next album by Drake, and theorize some s***.

There’s no such thing as a bad idea.

But here’s what I want from his next album abject matter wise Atleast .

    1. For him to name drop his ex’s (not in a disrespectful way). Famous or otherwise There’s this laundry list of women that drake has been associated with but truth be told I don’t think he’s ever had an actual confirmed girlfriend (with the exception of Rih). I don’t think it’s wrong to wanna know what relationships had an actual affect on his psyche and who influences the music hear. Like I wanna know if he was in love with Jorja Smith or Serena or even Nicki at one point.

    2. I want him to speak on Toronto, Canada has changed significantly since he rose into an icon. The city is darker and more violent, and while his music has changed in a way to reflect that . I want him to speak on how he feels about that. I’m sure he lost some OVO people or young rappers that was admired to the craziness going on. How does he feel about that? Does that worry him? Dows he miss how it used to be?

    3. The Kanye Beef. I mean what exactly do those two dislike each other over?

    4. His imminent retirement, he’s not gonna rap forever right? At some point s*** is gonna be over. But what’s gonna happen after? Is he gonna go full mogul like HOV? Or enjoy the background like a Nas. Will he ever get a protege like Wayne did for him?

I feel like there’s more but I’m dumb high , I think an album with this subject matter would be the “classic” that people complain he doesn’t have (NWTS, TC)

What does the general public want

I feel like his recent music about ex’s is emotionally shallow, I wanna know who he’s been actually down bad for and now it changed him.

    Where's the heroin copypasta

Said it before and I’ll say it again, he needs to develop a serious heroin habit before recording any more music. This would be the best possible career move for him.
He would produce a deranged, dark, d***ged out experimental album that would be praised. He’d give grizzly accounts of life and the situations he gets into while being a fiend, and hustling pills on the side to fuel his addiction as people begin to distance themselves from him. Soon it would come out about his addiction and the media would be buzzing. Scandal after scandal would arise and he’d be the most talked about person in the world as he continues down this dark path of addiction and insanity. Then, he would get arrested for possession and do a stint in jail, adding credibility to the hard image he’s been trying to adopt for sometime. The #FreeDrake movement would be like nothing we’ve ever seen before and it would spark an international conversation about how we treat addicts (rehabilitative vs punitive punishment.
Drake would get out, get clean, and become the face of the opiate epidemic sweeping North America, opening him up to even wider audiences and platforms. His first album after release would sell a million first week and be praised, as Drake explores a whole new realm of lyrical content reflecting on his past degenerate behavior and becomes a symbol of hope for millions dealing with addiction. This would be great for his image, solidify him as one of the greatest rappers ever, and create worldwide change that benefits millions for years to come.
The best possible thing Drake could do for his career is to start doing as much dog food as possible, as soon as possible.
