I wanna hear Drake tackle the geopolitical crisis in Ukraine in his next offering.

  • fun

need him to rap about protracted people's war

This was a subtle nod to sinewave & the heroin copypasta to me

I have no idea who Paris is, but I know it's a woman Drake has been romantically involved with because he mentions her so often. We do not need more name drops about the women he's been with. The "6God" speaks on Toronto and Canada enough. Same with Kanye. The quality of the output from both artists has suffered long enough because of this beef. Scorpion should've been the end of this beef for good

I agree with 4 though. Songs like Vital should be on an album

I wanna see him embrace his age and his tenure more. The Boy 36 in October and he stamped. 10 year vet and in goat conversation. He don’t gotta worry about what these kids like anymore. Just make great music

    He does that already

CLB should've been about him maturing because he became a father. But nah, he raps about being a lesbian on the 3rd track That album is just one giant miscalculation, everything was lining up perfectly for it to be a return to form for Drake and he fumbled

More rap focused then CLB and less features then CLB

Out at “Name drop his exes”

What kinda lipstick alley type s*** is that?

Luxury rap like Champagne Poetry and Diplomatic Immunity.

Ditch the generic trap feature starter pack and work with artists who can compliment his style and elevate tracks, Frank Ocean, Andre 3000.

Concise project with max 15 tracks.

Stay far away from OZ I’m tired of hearing those drums.

I always felt like an easy concept for a Drake album that would pretty much be a guaranteed classic is a short rap album with rnb sprinkled throughout where Drake bears his soul and gets introspective but also bars out and showcases his skill. Basically the same as he does with his standard lyrical rap tracks like Champagne poetry but pretty much for an entire project. Also more transparent then his standard rap tracks, directly addressing s*** that’s been on his mind and getting things off his chest instead of alluding to things subliminally.

Honestly tho I think if Drake focused on any one of his sounds for an entire project it’s pretty much guaranteed to be a classic.

Imagine a 10 track rnb focused RnB album. Or thriller esq pop album with hit after hit. Or a full on Drake trap album or Drill album full of fire ass features.

He keeps trying to do all that on one album and it just doesn’t work. It’s like loading your roster with too many all stars that don’t have play styles that compliment one another (lakers currently)

He told y'all that he'll never make a concise album because he has to satisfy his fans that like different parts of his music (Rnb stuff, rap, etc). Hate to say it but until he changes that mentality, we'll always get filler on his projects. He doesn't care about quality if he can put a mid song on there that will satisfy a section of his fanbase

    1. Zero features
    2. Beat switches & 5 minute songs
    3. Piano / guitar / real drums
    4. PMM3
    5. Fire & Desire 2
    6. 7PM at Mount Zion

Vulnerable and emotional drake is the best drake. He gotta just let it all out and not think about how big of a boss he is. I think it’ll show the new generation like the previous take care one, that it’s okay to show emotion to women and yourself.

    WESLEY THE GREAT

Drake passed his peak at this point. We saw his best work artistically.

No, I don’t think so actually. I think he desperately wants to make something that all of us in the comments would love, his brand of music but he’s such a big artist, probably the biggest that if he takes chances and reverts back to his old days he will lose a new generation of listeners, and ultimately his squeeze on culture that he’s held onto for a decade.

    THIB

Said it before and I’ll say it again, he needs to develop a serious heroin habit before recording any more music. This would be the best possible career move for him.
He would produce a deranged, dark, d***ged out experimental album that would be praised. He’d give grizzly accounts of life and the situations he gets into while being a fiend, and hustling pills on the side to fuel his addiction as people begin to distance themselves from him. Soon it would come out about his addiction and the media would be buzzing. Scandal after scandal would arise and he’d be the most talked about person in the world as he continues down this dark path of addiction and insanity. Then, he would get arrested for possession and do a stint in jail, adding credibility to the hard image he’s been trying to adopt for sometime. The #FreeDrake movement would be like nothing we’ve ever seen before and it would spark an international conversation about how we treat addicts (rehabilitative vs punitive punishment.
Drake would get out, get clean, and become the face of the opiate epidemic sweeping North America, opening him up to even wider audiences and platforms. His first album after release would sell a million first week and be praised, as Drake explores a whole new realm of lyrical content reflecting on his past degenerate behavior and becomes a symbol of hope for millions dealing with addiction. This would be great for his image, solidify him as one of the greatest rappers ever, and create worldwide change that benefits millions for years to come.
The best possible thing Drake could do for his career is to start doing as much dog food as possible, as soon as possible.

    I can’t believe you’re still on this 😂

It’s weird tho because why not just drop 2 concise albums in a year that have different styles
