It was beautiful fam, its an unconventional movie plot wise and a slow burn so its not that accessible but if you enjoy these type of movies you're in for a treat. Really glad Oscars giving it more recognition.
i want to watch it but 3 hours bruh
flew by for me in theatres, it was immersive and meditative af
Hitting HBO Max next week
Hasnât been in theaters where I live so I havenât been able to watch
Banger movie. I hate 99% of movies that are longer than 1 hour 30 mins but I sat through 3 hours of this s*** like it was nothin. The final scene of the stage play was awesome and I kinda wish the movie ended on that note.

Would love to, but if itâs more than 2 hours away by the time it hits Max I might unfortunately have to just watch at home
But imma keep checking

would def recommend catching in theatres, I find for quieter movies like this being in theatres helps make it a more immersive experience since theres less distractions, it's easy to check out and go on your phone in a 3 hour movie if you're watching at home
I loved this movie and the soundtrack is so good even though itâs 3 hours it feels more like 2 1/2 and thatâs because the intro is like 20 mins. But I do feel like itâs long for a reason. The director is making you work and actually earn the relationship between Kafuku and Misaki.

You arenât the only one on the ending. Director said someone came up to him and said he loved the movie until the ending. Director laughed telling the story and said he likes a little âimperfectionâ with that ending
(I like the ending.)
Wasn't too into this one
Liked the acting and tone of it all tho. The music was great too, and it was shot real well

Did you think it was a better adaptation than Burning?
