I haven’t read either of the short stories these movies are based on but I have read about 5 of murakmi’s books and I’d say Drive My Car FEELS more Murakami than Burning. I liked Burning more tho although I have seen Burning twice and I’ve only seen Drive My Car once so that might have something to do with it.

Yea it’s amazing. The museum that I saw it at was playing the movie every weekend in December. Tickets were selling out so much they had to add a couple more showings in January and that’s how I got a chance to see it

I'ma try watching this again when it hits HBO, tried watching the leak a month ago and honestly was bored

I can see why you’d think this is boring if you watch it at home but I just saw it at the cinema and this s*** was gripping

Only slow part was like the last 25 mins ish and I was kinda hoping for a less open ended ending
